I have a few questions regarding this modification...

a.) Which and where can i find the 74HC373 chip?
b.) I am unable to find a 1.1k Ohm resistor, I can however get a 1k Ohm resistor. Will this be sufficient?
c.) For the jumper wire, can I wire up a switch instead so I can choose between the external and internal roms? (For emissions Reasons)

    thanks,
    Derek

1- Radio shack has them, or if you have a "Fry's electronics", they have them too
2- Yes, a 1k ohm resistor will work fine. 1/8th watt is the ideal, 1/4 will do fine.
3- Yes you can, just don't switch it while the ECU is on, you could do damage.

put in the caps on c51/c52. otherwise you will have problems with the switch.
