hood wont close please help

can anyone tell me why i have to modify my stock hood for it to close on my 91 rex with a lsmotor and i have hasport motor mounts????? i had to cut out the supports under the hood where it hits the cam gears and valve covers this should not be.....

post pics cause i had a ls motor in my crx and had to cut nothing...
