hooking up a tach

i have a 94 civic ex and im truing to hook up a tach up on it what wire do i run to it

if its a after market tach, on the driver side under the hood the corner of the firewall up at the top there will be a blue wire with a back rubber cap over it. splice it to there/ its a single wire by its self

i found the plug but is there anyway that you can hook it up off the stock tach

I always thought you attach the red/blk wire (if your tach comes with those colors) into the coil in your distributor!.

stock tach not that i know of. if you have a stock tach like a stock civic gauge cluster it should be a plug and play
