I bet this batch of PS3s are going to fall apart before "E3" 07'
aint that the truth. I've been doing quite a bit of reading and Im not liking what Im hearing.
- still no in-game voice support, keyboard only.. .yeah, ok, thats great
- doesnt downscale to 720p, completely drops it to 480 (and it looks like crap)
- no in-game music option
- Blu-Ray was a bad decision (in the US), and thats starting to show
- they are loosing about $250/console (MS lost $100 a console on the original Xbox)
- Japan got a price drop while the US didnt.
- Developers are jumping ship or pulling exclusives (like GTA, FF, MGS)
- Already reports of dead PS3s
- Sony canned their high-end line of monitors to ramp up for the PS3s release
Quite a few other things that arent about the PS3, but that are in comparison to their once-dominating console grip. Ive seen their new PS Online layout and its just blah. Sony has been playing catch-up to MS ever since the Xbox was released.
