How do I delete pics?

I have a bunch of pics in my gallery that I want to delete, but don't see anything that allows me to. They aren't sorted into albums, just put in the main part of my gallery i guess.

Yea, it took me forever to figure out to delete pictures, now I don't feel so stupid that I wasn't the only person that had issues with it.

ahh, ok. I hovered over most of the icons, but got frustrated and said screw it, lol. thanks

the galllery software sucks, i know. sad thing is, there's nothing better... and i don't have time to code one from scratch now a days.
