how do i know if my o2 sensor is bad?

hey yall i baught a 91 integra 2 days ago with a b18b1 it has a ecu out of an automatic along with gage cluster. my check engine light is on i was told this was because of the ecu not matching up with the standard transmission swap. but now im hearing that it might just be my o2 sensor what do yall think? also i have a b18a1 head that is port and polished, would this head work on my b18b1?

You should pull the code form the ECU. it will tell you what is wrong with it. Check the articles forum for a how to on ecu error code reading and jumping.

The a1 head is the same casting as the b1 for th emost part. would just need to sawp over the electronics on to it.
