How do you hook up a water gauge?

I have a 96 ls integra that I am trying to hook up a mechanical water gauge in? I need to know where to hook it up at and also what kind of adapters will I need? I am putting my fans on a switch. Thanks

a water guage for what? temp? and why put your fans on a switch? unless this a race car...

this is how i would do it this is how it is on my drag car

remove hoses from heater core buy a brass 3/4 pipe T and barb fittings to fit your hoses and run the two heater hoses in a loop thru the T install the probe in the remaining hole in the T and presto your done and you also dont have to put up with it being any hotter in the car than it will be allready
