how do you host a website from your home pc?

    ok well i have my small ass website, but i am so use to them and they are now closing. they want to stop all webhosting as of sept 14th. so now i am going to be out my website and my email that i use alot! it angers me but i don't know what to do. i heard the rumor is i can do it at home let me know whats up. so how do i set it up so i can just host it from home?

    Transfer your hosting to a new account - I can sell you an account if you want. PM me your info :)

    Depending on your site - I would shy away from hosting it with your home pc for various reasons...

    well the site it not that big and i have a desktop that i can use as the host pc for the website. i think the site is so small i dont even want to pay to host it anymore..lol

    Then just utilize your domain hosts email service for $x/month and not worry about hosting it as if its that small - whats the point if you only want the email.

    yeah, home hosting is a horrible a idea.

    dude, you can get a hosting account for like 4 bucks a month
