84mm is pushing it. anything higher is going to need sleeves.

If its a bigger bore you are after why not just buy a b20 block? Same rods, stroke, etc but bigger bore.

you CANNOT bore to 84mm on stock sleeves.

    81.5mm safely
    82mm is pushing it

anything more and you need to resleeve it

if your spendin the money to bore just save the few dollars more and re-sleeve. its always better to take your time and do every thing right the first time the motor is torn apart. Well thats my opinion!!!

The reason I don't go b20 is cause I can't find a good block for a reasonable price and my buddy has his old ls block sitting around so I was gonna fully build it and was wondering what I could bore to without having to sleeve it cause ima go all motor ls vtec but thx for the info

Why would you want to bore it soo much. The trade off from boring for no reason vs reliability is not worth it. If it doesn't NEED a bore job I wouldn't do it.
