Hey guys...
These are my tickets....

74/55
64/55
65/55
65/55
50/40
80/55 - Got last night
No Seatbelt
Rear ending a school bus

Not all of these went on my record... my insurance was up to 900 dollars for 6 months for liability on a P.O.S truck... and I drive a 98 Civic EX under my dads name that Im "suppoused" to pay but he pretty much does.

Im 17 years old and I currently unemployed... I can't afford to pay this crap, any ideas how/when my insurance can drop? Any ideas which ones ARE forsure on my record or anyway I can check my driving record?

Thanks guys

your lucky you haven' gotten it revoked as a habitual offender (they did that to both my cousin and brother for 1 year)

7 years before they come off your record from the year it happened, soooo...... if it happened in January of 2000, it won't come off till the end of your insurance cycle that ends after january of 2007.....

if you want to know which are on your record, it should come with your policy at the begging of the policy year, or you can call your Insurance agent.....

Thats for mass bill:

All other states with the exception of New Jersey tickets will fall off after three consecutive years from teh date of conviction. If all of those are on your record now you better start looking for another company...and under NO circumstance do you want to call your ins agent and ask about tickets, they'll run your mvr :)

you got all those tickets and stuff in just around 1 years time? damn 1st learn from your mistakes and make the road safer. 2nd what is the story about rear ending the bus?

holy crap kid, you need to learn how to drive
rear ending a school bus? oh, you're going to hell for that one!

NH is the same way, and so isn't S.C. I wne to HS in NH and took my drivers ed there and they have the same laws. My cousin was excited last summer when I was done for his wedding. He got 4 speeding tickets his first month and they finally came off his record last year.....

Your record will clear 3 years from your last offence. Wrecks come off after 5 years. If you can take defensive driving and lower you insurance to liability. Also you can call your agent and ask for him to raise your deductibles.
(This is of course how it is in Texas other states may have different statutes)

You think that's bad? I've had only 6 tickets, and i pay $1,600/6 months. I drive a 99 Civic EX, but i got those tickets w/ a 94 Mercury Tracer.

Damn, glad I'm a girl....I pay $880 a year.

oh, and depending on what state you are in determines how long points stay on your license. Most are removed every two years i think however, the stay on your dmv report 5-7 years. At least here in GA they do. Insurance usually keeps them on record (you pay for it) for about 3 yrs. SLOW DOWN!!!!!

I've had 3 tickets 2 accidents, one ticket is no longer on the record, one accident was not my fault and I paid 150 a month until I turned 21, then it went down to 110 a month for my Escort now...until I get a new car. :D

Texas falls off after 3 years... I've sat in the front of a squad car waiting for a tow truck to come after a wreck, and he ran my record- tickets from 3 years ago were gone.
