How much boost can a stock D16z6 handle?

Hey Guys! I'm about to put a D16z6 in my CRX! My CRX is boosting 5psi with a Garret T3 at the moment with a 8:1 fmu! How much boost can a stock D16z6 motor handle with a T3 turbo?? (I was told 9 psi max!) and do i need to change my fmu ratio?? Thanks in Advance!

9-10 is about as high as you can go for many reasons- not just fuel or turbo size. thats the limit of the stock map sensor (even with check valves)

i would def. updrage to a 12:1 fmu at the VERY LEAST.

if you don't have a pump, i would suggest upgrading to a 190 intank as well.

i defintatly wouldnt go past 8psi with that fmu

thanks guys! I think I'm going to boost it at 8psi for now and put in a 12:1 fmu. do you guys think the stock crx injectors will work with this amount of boost? I'm planning to put a safc later on, do you think its a good idea? what should I do for my fuel management? I already got a msd inline fuel pump! thanks again for all your help!

the 12:1 fmu IS your management.
