This cable bill is killing me every month. I just can't believe I'm paying this much for the TV and internet.

My last month comcast bill for cable and internet was $125.08

Is that high?

$49.99 for Internet..... and that includes channels 1 to 99 :ph34r:

PS: My sister had Comcast, said she wanted to cancel because she couldn't afford the $100+ bills.
They called her the next day and offered her a $60 plan for HSI and Digital Cable.
 
I got COX, Cable Internet, unlimited phone calls in the states, local and long distance, and 7cents a minute for calls to Japan, and Digital Cable...all for a price of $148 a month. 2 TV's hooked up, no HBO or pay chanels, but the household TV have tons of channels, and the garage has basic cable, 3 computers hooked to a wireless router...and the set up rocks. I'm just never home enough to use it though...but the wife is happy with the setup.
 
comcast internet, ondemand/pay channels, free hd, and a bunch of other stuff i shouldn't get for $38 a month.

gotta love the cable guy who says "is that a real sti?"

ordered basic cable and internet, and get everything :)

I have the ondemand thingy which I did not order but like too much to let them take back.

My mom pays like 30 fucking dollars for cable at home but she doesn't have internet and obviously doesn't have comast.

The internet alone is over 60 dollars a month.
 
$15 a month for verizon DSL. never EVER had a fucking problem. im running 2 laptops and a desktop on MAC address encryption.
 
Charter Basic Expanded Digital cable, with Internet about 100 bux. not too bad.
 
Last month was like $136.00.

Comcast Cable with OnDemand, HBO, Showtime and Comcast Cable Internet. I think I ordered a couple movies.

thats what i got. had some minor problems at first but comcast reimurses me every time. If you want the good deals just tell your existing company you want to cancel and want to go somewhere cheaper. you'll be amazed at the price dropping :laugh:
 
I got charter cable 3 meg internet service and Digital cable, 209 visable channels and mulitple digital music channels for $69/month till july and then $99 from then on.
 
I have digital cable and high speed internet and mine is $90

And yes, we do have a customer retention department. It is to keep valued customers with us. But if you have more than... 5 late payments good luck having someone hook you up. And Brian, you got hooked up big time, but you have an illegal box. All those channels have to be put in our system to activate them. Like HDTV has a different code. Not to say that guy didnt hook yah, but not many people have the availablity for that deal. I had a "hot box" with all the free channels and free pay per views... went for 200 on ebay.
