I'm willing to spend the money to make my car as fast as it could be. I'm just trying to get the most of my engine. I only drive this car on the weekends. This is what I have on my car already: AEM Cam Gears, AEM Fuel Rail w/pressure gauge, JDM Header, Skunk2 Manifold, MSD wires/coil/6AL, AEM Intake, Chipped ECU, DC front & rear strut bar, TEIN, No AC or Power Steering and many more interior work. I would like to get turbo but if there is better way to get more power then turbo tell me. Thanks for your help :worthy: Thanks for the answer I got last post. Turbo or NA will make your car go faster. NA will cost a hevula lot more, but it will yield better results. Turbo's are a lot cheaper to get good numbers, but will lose to NA builds on the same level.

Go turbo its a good thing (that is what I am doing this spring)

If $$$ ain't no thang rebuild your motor, and sleeve it.
 
Those Teins really help to get power out of your engine...
 
Go turbo probably T3/T4 and get rid of that chipped ECU and run either Uberdata
or Hondata. You will get more horsepower than you want from that, maybe trade out the Skunk2 manifold for an Edelbrock Victor X I hear they are great for forced induction.

Interior work does not increase HP, speed or anything performance related.

You're never going to make your car faster by adding wieght, so take out the huge stereo I'm sure you have in there. Continue to gut the shit out of it. Guess what you just dropped your times by like .3 of a second.

SLEEVE it to 86 mm
some 10:1 compression pistons
a SC61 and corresponding turbo parts (i'm not listing them all, just no)
Ok, I'm not listing every fucking part, build up the internals (i'm at work, tired and want to go home)

PnP the head with a good valvetrain

Boost the shit to like 18-20 lbs, voila, fast car you'll never have

sorry, im real irratated today.
 
86mm = bad idea for high boost on a B series... you'll be blowing head gaskets every week.

Boost is for bitches. Go all motor. Sleeve that bitch to 85mm, put 12:1ish pistons in there, and get some Toda VTEC Killer cams. :thumbsup:

A 10:1 on a turbo setup is nothing, its all about tuning or are you so stupid you didn't think to factor that part in? Did I have to really write that in there, I clearly stated that I wasn't typing a full list.

I guess that was going a little overboard, 84 would be a much more suitable bore size.


And I still stand by my statement where to boost with semi-high comp pistons, tuning may be harder but the end result will be greater.

As a side note, amed at Riceras (I know this should be directed to PM)don't post what you don't know, you obviously don't have experience with turbos or any kind of boost. And 18-20 lbs on an SC61 is not going to happen, well it could but its not going to, not in this case anyway.

If he comes back, I'll be glad to tell him a setup within reasonable limits since I'm sure he really doesn't have an unlimited amount of money to spend on this.

Sure 11's are fast but so are 13's, I don't know what he considers fast it could be mid 15's for all I know.
