hey i figure i might as well shave some off the z6 head b4 i swap it into my car. im leavin all internals stock.. how much is safe to shave off the head. i was to up my compression...but i dont want it to be dangerous... its a everyday driver, but still obvously a racer.. what do u guys think?

don't have it milled too much or the head will be trash.

30 or 40 thousandths should be ok.
 
just have it cleaned up and milled .10 thousands. .40 is too much IMO

also if you want to up your compression milling the head is the easy way but not the best way, just get some different pistons if you want to up the compression
 
why is it not a good idea to up my comp. by shaving the head? jw..
thanks for the help guys, 30thousands sound like wut ppl are sayin so i guess ill go with that..
