Well the ? is the title. I have a guy who wants me to swap his head on his SOHC f22 motor. He bought it from some people who never changed the oil and he said it snaped the cam shaft in half. Dont ask me how when. LOL What should I charge this guy to take the head off and put another one on. This would just be labor no parts. Obviously I know how to do it.. but Ive never charged anyone.
 
friend = beer & pizza, some random guy, hmm...maybe trade for some parts if he has they laying around, if not then I would go with 200 bucks
 
damn, u guys making me hungry haha. But yeh, 150 sounds like a good deal. This one guy near my area wanted to charge my friend 100 for his SOHC vtec head plus 200 for installation.
 
At least 200.00 is fair. Shop time pays 8 hrs. so as a reference, he'd be paying 550.00+ elsewhere.
