Coming to America was the chance. Those who came to this country and lived the American Dream were not given hand outs, they sifted through shit to make it on their own.

There are still hard working foreigners that come to this country, open gas stations and work long hours and make it in America without help. In fact they work so hard that they afford their lives here and send money back home to their families.

If he lived in your state, his federal income tax percentage would be higher than yours and he would pay the same sales tax as you. What is your point?

He would also pay higher property taxes than yourself by owning a more valuable house.

first, sales tax is a local establishement by the state. It's not a federal program, thus it has 0 bearing on this thread.

2nd, If i buy more things with my larger salary, I pay more in sales tax over time.
