"...we want the rich to share the wealth..." May not be spot on, but I turned the TV off, went and cleaned my guns. The reason we left to start America: The government had become to bloated, had their hands in too much shit, wasn't letting the people do their own thing, and they were trying to help the people through failing methods (that were obviously fail) We're in so much trouble because of 2 reasons: Credit. I want it now. I'll make payments. Okay for 1 thing eh? Okay so when a loan is made it's based off income levels. Okay. But what happens when a second loan is made, its based off the original income numbers. Okay. Third loan, same story. Oh no's we've got 3 loans based of the original income with payments that nearly max that budget single handedly, but now we have 3?! Shit, well I can file bankruptcy (Simpsons had a great episode like that) Second reason why we're fucked. Taxes. Okay, so we need a little money to run the government. (this falls in a similar process of how loans fuck us) Well we've got a little deficite here and have to pay more for it. Okay lets increase the taxes a little bit. Government: Oh holy shit batman (thanks Tom lol) we can get a fuckload of money outta these people. Woot now we can increase taxes some more and give ourselves a mercedes and a 13 bedroom 10 bath house. (Family guy episode) Obama: Well we need to get schools up and going and provide a better education. Lets increase taxes for that. McCain: I want to freeze government spending across the board! Well except for essential stuff. Lets get rid of failing programs. Lets make new programs. Well thats going to result in tax increase. Hrmmm can we run a society where people provide for themselves? Wait no, we're not going to do that it would be too much like a free democracy. Lets call it democracy and use taxes to force it to become evermore socialist. Hrm? Wait sounds like demo-crazy to me. Why the fuck do we need 1300 different governemnt programs to help people do things they can already do with 1/13th of the amount of programs. So you can't provide health care for yourself? Why are doctors all driving 1 of 3 different 100k plus cars. I know a lot of people that want to be a doctor not because of the 1337 money they make but because they nobly want to help people. Hrm so make school cost a little less? How to do that though since everything for the schools is provided via government? Does anyone see a problem with the intertwining of all these assistances and corruption. Man is noble. Men are greedy power hungry and willing to step on whoever it takes. McCain brought up a great point in a debate about a surplus in military funds in the middle east. He said we're sending 6 or 7 hundred billion a year there (think it was a year) and, they're at a 2 trillion dollar surplus (if i remember right....lots of numbers lol) Problem: We need to keep them at some surplus. A 1 year surplus is enough to protect the troops from any fails as far as cash flow and provide them time to evacuate. We send them 3 year surplus? Whats going to happen when obama brings ALL the troops back. Already jobs are hard to find. Okay so now we have maybe a couple million (I don't know how many troops are over there) people flooding back into the country. No jobs nothing. The government pays to keep them reserved for x-amount of time. Then bam we drop them. Well are we going to give them welfare? No they have education and experience already can't do that. So if we do, what happens taxes += ++ (c talk for taxes now increment) WTF DO WE DO. This quote "Nice to see a discussion with so many arguments and no resolution" (may not be exact) Is there a resolution? Who knows. I know that there needs to be some changes not just to taxation but to the entire society. The entire "governing" group. And humans in general. We're not going to make it on the road we're on. Our minds are far too narrow. I wish that we could become enlightened lol. Its mostly a foolish type of desire to escape that created the word. By nature we're screwed. Natural selection got us here, and its about to take us out. I don't know I would be pessimistic but whats the point wouldn't work anyways. Pffffft Fuck it all I'm going to keep my nose to the grind stone. Do what I can to provide for my son. Try to make a good life, and hopefully oneday things will situate themselves. Maybe I will be privaledged with helping. If they don't I will adjust myself to the situation work my hardest to make the best and hopefully make it. I'm by no means great when it comes to macroeconomics and politics. But I have ideas and intelligence and can see when something is failing and or not right.

All instances of credit are defined on a debt to income ratio. Old outstanding loans effect you getting another one.
I'm 100% sure i would be denied to get another mortgage on a 2nd property right now if i wanted to buy a 'summer' house or something. I simply have too much debt with my current house.

but i'll tell you what, i would NEVER go to school for 12 years with 200k in student loan debt to come out making 40k a year.
NO ONE in their right mind would do it. They would be in serious debt until they die, and then that debt goes to their kids, and then their kids can't go to college, or it falls back on the state.
Thus, we'd have no doctors and no advancements in medicine.
Doctors DESERVE a 200k + salary. Especially specialists, like brain surgeons.
if more people thought like this... aka, helping themselves, we wouldn't be in this situation at all. We wouldn't have welfare. We'd have people starting new businesses all the time, bringing their ideas to the market.

Im not saying doctors don't deserve as much, what im saying is it needs to cost those who're in pain and injured and have serious problems less money. Its insane I have insurance. I work my ass off. And I see when then insurance sends me the claims.... HOLY SHIT. How the hell would someone making minimum and barely making it afford it. Oh lets fall back on the government. WTF HOW DO WE MAKE THIS WORK. I want it to cost less money but Jesus, I can't think of a way that it would work. I was more or less trying to point out the futility of trying to make the system work. We need an entirely redefined system. Socialism and capitalism are fail. Any mix of them is fail. What other ism is there that has made it. A country for the people of the people and by the people. "The person is smart. People are dumb panicky and crazy..." (i can't remember exactly...) How come ants can build some shit so fast? They are mindless don't give a shit but to eat. We're basically trying to fix things with solutions that have already failed previously. A president alone will not be able to do much. A whole entire government.... maybe Whats going to happen in the meantime? Iran Iraq Syria goin to kill Israel and we're going to live the revelation. Or not? I have hope but only hope. I like the cool things that I get to play with and the life I live. But it is fleeting.
Because they all want to fuck the queen. Motivation gets shit done.
And that's our #1 problem. American's, in general, have no motivation to get shit done. There's no reward. You get shit done, the gov't takes it away from you and gives it to the slacker fuck who'd never done anything with their lives.
Lol, I always feel the same way, so I try to stay out of political discussions for the most part.

On a lighter note, that chick tried real hard. Then she threw up and passed out. I fireman carried her to her bed and tossed the corpse in, but I didn't get my rocks off.
Then her boyfriend came home. Luckily I was out warming up the jeep.

you can buy a tux at the thrift store for $10. which means, you can get a decent interview outfit for under $10.
a jump in the river, and a knife to shave your face is all you really need.
you don't become a bum because you can't find work.
you become a bum because you chose to be.
Whether it's drugs, alcohol, etc, it's a choice made.
Mental issues, on the other hand, are a different ball game.
My great uncle was crazy. he came home from WWII with half a leg blown off from shrapnel. His wife left him shortly there after. He pretty much just chewed cigars (never lit them) and mumbled to himself from 1945 until 2003 when he died at the age of 84.
He did go back to work at a factory for a while eventually, but if he didn't have a purple heart and gov't benefits, he probably would have been a bum.
