how to calculate compression ratio

2.2 liter displacement
225 psi compression test...

anyone know how to calculate the CR?

its a 2001 H22A4, but a motor builder told my friend he had 11:1 compression which would be a typeS...

i get 280psi on 1.8L b18cR with 12.3:1 pistons. but you cannot get your CR from a compression test.

My cheapo 300psi gauge is pegged after 4 pumps....

the only real way is to cc the block and head if youve got it apart it takes 10 mins to do

Naw- I know mine goes way higher than that... I need a gauge that reads higher than 300psi.
