how to clean pistons

ok well ive got these pistons and im pretty certain i need to clean them out before putting rings on them and installing them into the block. now my question is, how do i clean them? what can i use to get into the little grooves that the rings sit in?

i would use parts cleaner and a tooth brush....

yea id thought of a toothbrush, but im not sure it will be able to adequetly get in those grooves. anyone have any tips that is proven to work?

thats what the parts cleaner is for....it will break up the dirt...btw a piston should not be that dirty

yea i heard that somewhere else too, seems like a good way to do it

ive also been told that letting them soak in carb cleaner or parts cleaner for a while works wonders too.

and formby, they arent that dirty, i just want them blingin before i install them so they look new again
