how to distinguish intake and exhauste cams??

    I was taking the head off my type R and forgot to mark exhaust and intake. How do I tell??

    The diameter. You should have a manual, and a way to measure them. The are different in size.

    Dont know the actual spec, but thats how. They should be noticable different. Put them valve face to valve face, and match them that way.

    Hell yeah good looking out!! I just need my ys1 tranny with LSD and crazy final drive back and I'm rolling!!

    intake cam has a groove on the distributor side, specifically for the distributor. the exhaust cam wont have a groove
