how to fix lsome deep scratches...

yeah anyways so i really jacked this one peice up on the bike i just did and img oing to need to put some paint on it. i put some big scratches on the side (by big i mean, deep ) and like what is the process that is going to be required to fix this ? they went through the primer. so im thinking, sand it, then can i just spray that part w/ red then clear coat the entire peice?

down to metal, prime again, at least that spot.

Sand it smooth, shoot it again.

Red? Make sure the whole piece is one color before you respray. If you have a spot of primer and shoot it, you'll probably see that spot through the paint, even if it's smooth.

Basically, you can fuck around, or start over. If the scratch didn't go through the primer to metal(or plastic), then you could just fill the scratch with paint, smooth it, and shoot it over.

220 the spot where the scratch is , feather it out nice reprime it, 400 the primer then 600 if u want, the respray the panel
