How to get Harness plugs loose

Ok everyone I am working on removing my factory engine and I am try to get the plugs apart on the engine harness at the shock towers, but for what ever reason they will not com apart any advice on how to get these apart would be sweet, it is the last thing left to get loose then I can swap the new engine in.

use a flat blade screwdriver to pry the clips up,be gentle,pull hard.

you have to remove them from the shock tower first and then you can pull the two sides apart
there is one clip that holds the male and female end together and another clip that locks both of them to the shock tower

let me know if that doesn't make sense, I had trouble taking the harnesses off at first too because I didn't realize that

Thanks everyone the engine is out. Time to clean the engine bay, and paint the car.
