I have a 93 civic hatch with a 94 teg 1.8 in it. Im getting a Check Engine Light but I don't know what ecu pins to jump in order to get the error codes. Now I can't find the conventional connector because it was swapped so I need to know what pinouts from the ECU I have to disconnect and jump. I know one wire is black/silver and the other is brown/silver.

thanks in advance.

Im going to try to explain this with getting angry despite the last retarded response.

I have looked at this >>>https://hondaswap.com/reference-materials/88-ecu-error-codes-29109/

I have also looked at this>>>>http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/wiring/wiring.92-95.jpg

and this>>>>>https://hondaswap.com/reference-materials/ecu-pinouts-28667/

and this>>>>OBD1 Honda ECU pinouts - Honda Forum / Acura Forum - SuperHonda.com
along with a slew of other online material.

now if I may be more specific (and I don't know why I have to be without inciting knee jerk elitism) I need to know what pinouts from the ECU are used to make the CEL blink the error code.

what this >>https://hondaswap.com/reference-materials/88-ecu-error-codes-29109/<< artical refers to is jumping the black and brown wires in the plug on the right side.

the motor in my civic was swapped and I DO NOT HAVE THIS PLUG.

I could assume that the brown wire is pinout D04 on my OBD1 ecu, but which one is the black wire. I could assume its a ground but I don't want to take my chances. Hence why I am attempting to confer with the people on this site who may know what I am talking about and not with those who feel the need to lash out because their still bitter about getting slapped around back in high school.

sorry for the nasty response but I, like may other people, don't really like being called retarded

whether your civic was swapped or not.. it should still be there.. have you tried looking up under the dash on the far passenger side..

ps.. might wanna lose the shithead attitude or else you probably wont get much help around here

The thing is...that plug is part of the chasis harness. even with a swapped engine you should still have it.

im gonna look around and see if i can figure out anything else.

And EG, thats about as polite as you can be especially with the way car forums work.

The guy has obviously searched for this issue, and is seeing if he can get a little more info than what he is able to find from searching through hundreds of google hits and forum search results.

thanks alot.

to be more specific, the green casing is under the dash but the plugs that it contains is not. the swap was real sloppy but the car was the right price. I didn't want to completely rewire the motor (something I am no stranger to) and if I could work out this error code I would just let sleeping dogs lay.

yeah, theyre under there somewhere...if i didnt find it in a few minutes though, id just jump d4 to ground and call it a day.
