how to tell if ur h22a is obd1,or 2

i just got an h22a from japan and it looks all nice and shiny which rocks but it wont go to easily into my 95 prelude s very well if it obd2 so how to tell if its obd1 or 2?

also where can i find the production date on the engine? thnx ppl

Look at the year that's stamped on the head above the #4 exhaust runner. If it's 96-up it's obd2.
