Ok, I did alot of research, and I keep getting different results. I have a friend that has a 2000 Sir, from canada. And he might be selling his engine, and I might buy it. but I just want to clear somethng up. So far I now that the JDM 92-95 civic has the B16a2 Sir, with 170hp and 10.4:1 compression. And the USDM Si has a b16a2, with 160hp and 10.2:1 compression. AND I think that the 99-00 Sir in canada has the 170hp and 10.4:1 compression. But i'm not sure!!!! I printed out a chart i found in a yahoo search and it says that the 96+ Sir has 170hp, and the US 99-00 has 160hp. And I now that in canada the US EX is a Si in canada. NOW, another search said that the US, Si has the exact same specs (CR, hp, torque) as the canadian 99-00 Sir, and that the only reason they added a "R" on the canadian Si is becasue their ex is an Si. So my question is does the 99-00 canadian Sir have more hp, and a higher compression ratio, then the 99-00 US Si?? thanks
