Lol, I think it'd do more than just knock him out. I think it would probably break quite a few bones, if not just flat out kill him.

If you where to get hit with its tail you would be dead. And if a dolphin viewed you as a threat it would kill you just the same. Only with a dolphin it will simply pound away at your ribs with its nose until your rib cage turned to dust. Thats how they kill sharks any way.
