Went to the beach 5 min ago...Couldnt even see the pier, just waves with some wood under it. I am the only one with power ANYWHERE on the beach from the people I have talked to...5 tornadoes hit down, and killed some people. Nextel's went down, and there is a curfew, cops sent me home from the beach. So, I am stuck in my house, can't drive 2 miles without a cop escorting me home, can't contact anyone...My roomate went to his parent's, and they lost power 4 hours ago.
More winds then anything, I hard thunder for like 10 minutes, just seeing 50-70 mph winds, little rain.

This was earlier today...now imagine that pier...with waves over it, because that's what they were at when I went over there at 12:30 am.

Dude, if I could find a cat, you KNOW I would.

the tornado that went through tyndall parkway was a block from my house. no real damage, had a big tree in the front yard that snapped in half, but thats it.
was out of power for about 30 hours, but other then that it was no big deal
