How the fuck do you do it. I Googled it and this is all I can accomplish.

Yes, thats exactly it.

If you copy the URL in my post, thats exactly what I searched for. But, when I follow the steps in links 1, 2 and 5 I get what I posted above. So, WTF am I doin wrong?
 
if thats all you are trying to do its pretty easy on here
type out whatever you want the clickable part to say ("something like this")
then highlight the text you want to go to the link ("something like this")
then copy the URL you want to link to ( http;//lmgtfy.com/?q=how+to+hyperlink ) changed the : to a ; so it would just show the text
then click the globe with the chain links (
createlink.gif
)
paste in the URL you copied ( http;//lmgtfy.com/?q=how+to+hyperlink )
click OK

BTW, savings talk is infiltrated with porn posts. Made the mistake of opening up a "real" post on my work laptop and was met with a 12" black snake and some white booty. Thankfully I was off network haha
 
I sold savings talk a few years ago. as i did home modders No longer under my control.
