Nah, it looks red to me. It's nowhere near burnt orange.

not to thread jack or anything but are you going to the tu v. a&m game friday?

id paint it road cone ornage, and do the spark plug cover 99-00 civic si blue(electron blue) but thats just me, and thats also an expensive paintjob just for a valve cover
ive always liked blue/ornage color combination.
urs looks good though

won't need it mixed its a stock colour

Why are you trying to make that valve cover smoething it's not? *pops hood, "yup it sure is a type R valve cover"*

If it was my car I would have painted it the same color as your cars body, black, or polished it.

"well then perhaps it is best, it is not up to you"

Ive noticed a lot of.... ah screw it.

Anyhow, the Valve Cover looks good. Did you strip all the original paint off it or just sand and paint over it? Im wanting to paint my valve cover either Dark Blue or Gray hell maybe even polish it. But ILl most likely get it powder coated Blue.

Does anodized blue sound good for a SOHC valve cover? I'm going for a championship white body and then all my internals blue.

sweet i'm gettin some spray paint and rippin the accent apart tonight

Cool... I'm planning on "Wire Wheeling" (to get all that gunk and roughness off it) my B20B block to clean it up and paint it silver then painting the head blue. I just want it too look decent.

wire wheel can potentially gouge the shit out of the aluminum, just a heads up, and the valve cover might need more coats of red paint since its on top of a black base.... the black base will darker/dull the red to make it appear burnt orange...

That directed to me? Im just using hte wire wheel to remove the dirt thats on the engine.
