I'm a fan of old cars but only if they're in mint condition and really sick.

240Z for a daily driver = sucks
240Z with an L28T swap making 400+WHP = win

1988 RX7 daily driver = FTL but a super clean RX7 that is setup for road course FTW!
 
There was an old Z on ebay recently. Sold for way less than it was worth. Nothing flashy, just mint with low mileage. Good luck with it.
 
That car is far from ugly. I actually love the body styling of that car. If I didn't already have a project in the works I would bid on that.
 
its funny to think that most people who aren't into tuning cars would look at a crx as a beater/daily driver gas mileage car but then you start talking to people in our world and they are like hell yeah man a crx 1800 curb weight ls/swap that thing. If you weren't so far away I would sell you my camry. that thing is perfect for your needs.
 
the carbs, wheels, and flares are just about worth 700-1000 for the right people.
