I need a Motor!

I'm looking for a torque monster motor for my 98 civic ex. I just started looking into swaps and I'm new to honda so I don't really know what motor I'm looking for. I've heard the suggestion of getting a GSR or TYPE-R motor but would rather get an idea from people who know about hondas.

If Torque is your primary concern, have you ever though of a B20 (CRV motor) swap? Just a thought.

Type R is the top of the line in hondas, but its pricey.

Don't use just a B20 for your motor, just use the block and a VTEC head, B16, B17, B18C's. Same thing as LS/VTEC, but with a 2.0L block. Read the article about it.
