I need a word-doc converter

i'm trying to upload my resume onto monster and it says

Your document did not have a '.doc' extension, please use a .doc file

so what do i have to do to upload the word file? i have microsoft office student edition. it's the newest word program.

Try "save as" and make sure its in .doc format (office xp/2000/etc.) I have no idea what format you'd be saving it as otherwise.
