I'm buying a 1991 Honda Accord tomorrow, and i'm trying to figure out the best engine swap. What do you recommend I do for a first time swap? I was thinking about a B18 non-vtec engine, but is that even possible? Help me out, I'm fairly good with civic/teg swaps, but I'm not too great on Accord swaps. Thanks for any help.

Whatever you do, don't throw a B-series in there. Not only will it be worthless in the torque department, the mounts won't even come close to lining up.

Either look at an H22 if you want to stay n/a, or consider an H23 (cheaper and non-VTEC) if you think you want to go forced induction.

Any F or H series engine will bolt up. Everything else is a waste of cash. On a budget, H23 or F22B(JDM DOHC). Not on a budget, H22A or Turbo setup. Really broke? Moped or Flinstone shoes. :p
