okay guys,i need help on this because i'm doing a customers car.....
he has a 95 honda accord ex and blew the motor,he bought a 96 accord non v-tech motor and i dropped that 96 motor into his car using the v-tech intake manifold,ecu,and distributor....i know there will be a check engine light due to the v-tech solinoid and the cranck sensor.every this is hooked up and tried to start it....i have spark on number 1 cylinder,but didn't check on # 2,3,and 4 ....but found 2,3,and 4 with alot of oil on the spark plug wires and #1 didn't.....but any ways,i tried to start it....it cranks but don't start....while i'm cranking the motor,it backs fire from the exhaust but when i press the throttle then it backfires from the intake.....well i try to find out why it can't start.......could it be the timing since i swaped the distributor?let me know thanx guys.....
