my boy got a 96 ls teg.. he wanted to swap a type r motor then i told about ls/vtec since he has the motor already and i saw the write up b did,but i'd like for more ppl give info on this.. and what we will need for it to be build right...

go for it, its a good setup.

anyway I think I've posted this about 3 times already this week but here goes again: b16/b18 head, ls head gasket, gsr timing belt, gsr waterpump, steel braided hose and fittings, mild machine work on the head, you may want to tell your friend to upgrade his clutch and valvetrain to be on the safe side. go get it dyno tuned to get out any extra hp and if you can afford it tune it with hondata.
