    You can see some of how he rigged it up if you look at all the pictures. It looks like he tore apart a video game steering wheel peripheral and then added an extension to it so it could come up through the dash. What I want to know though, is how he got the gauge cluster to function...

    yea, we have a hard time getting gauge clusters to work in our real cars, this guy hooked it up to a video game/

    What game was he playing? If it was one of those simulators(I forgot the name; but allows you to program inputs/outputs), I could see how it's possible to configure outputs. Still neat though!
