$2999 for a BUILT dart block? Bullshit. Smells like a scam to me. Dart blocks are about that much BARE.

The guy has a 99.4 percent postive feedback raiting with over 3000+ items sold....i doubt its a scam..he's a power seller and a Performance Shop

Bare Dart blocks are right at $2200. That, and they only come in 1.8L and 2.0L, not 1.6L and 2.2L.
JE pistons are around $130 apiece, Eagle rods are about $300, and an Eagle crank is $700...and that's finding them CHEAP...
So this guy is selling a $3700 block for $2999?

I don't care what the blocks go for. $3k sounds reasonable for a built short block, no matter what engine you are talking about. Most companies WAAAAYYY overcharge.

If you read through Dart's own literature, they say that the block can be ordered with the "tall deck" for 95mm stroke applications. I would buy the Dart if I wanted to drop the cash to build a 95x86 B block with a 1.75:1 rod/stroke ratio. It's perfect.

if you want to buy it, i'll help you build it. we could easily get 250-260whp all motor out of that thing.
Make a custom hood with a mild bulge that goes all the way across so nobody notices unless they're really looking for it.
250-260whp on something like that should be cake.
IB offers their kickass 1.7liter B16 turbo block for 2995. Great deal, I think. Hmmm... maybe I should buy another Civic. Maybe an EG fodo.

well, you still need a head- stock from 500 to built at 2k
a tranny w/ lsd 1400
and then all the little shit to make it work...
intake manifold, distributor, injectors, some fuel management, injectors, exhaust, alt, axles, etc etc etc.
its tough when you don't have a full swap to start with in the first place. it will nickle and dmine you to death trying to find every last bolt.
well ur at 3k+lsd+head= atleast =5k , plus like brian said all the little shit= 6k or way more ! but hey 260 all motor engine in your da shell should run 13 or 12 depending on tires/suspension, and driver
