I vote a fresh coat of cleared aluminum silver
i vote silver and to clean your garage
lol... I should paint the walls too right?
do you have any before and after shots of the paint brian?
As soon as we-todd is back up. I'll post a few before pics. And I'll try to get some nice shots of it now today.
leave 'em alone. painting wheels is gay
they're already painted, just the color is really close to stock.
I scratched the shit out of them while sliding through gravel a couple months, so I sanded em down and painted them.
I vote black. It'll match the grill, and Red/Black combo on cars is hot.
Or Gunmetal would also look the part. The MAIN reason for painting them a dark colour in my eyes, other than appearance, is that you wont see brake dust build up. My wifey's 03 A4 3.0 with the sport package rims shows brake dust like mad if she leaves it for a while. But she's getting 18" Enkei PKR's in gloss black this summer, so that wont be a problem anymore.
But ya, black or gunmetal FTW! And make sure you clear coat them like 50 times cuz brake dust is corrosive as shit, as you know.
Started to paint em, just because I know someone will say something that's a reflection from the car next to it.
Don't forget the 3" of clear or the brake dust will rust out your rim.
Good choice on colour btw.
I'm doing the rears now, so I'll post a pic of them on the car soon.
