okay, had an CEL on and pulled out a code 14, IAC valve. I took my cousins IAC and put it on mine. erased the memory and it's still on. the coolant lines that goes to the valve tends to be warm when you start the engine for only a couple of minutes. can it be the termo valve? I noticed my idling. At 1500 RPMs, it shrugs on me. below or higher than that is okay. what do you guys suggest?

what do you mean by "shrugs on me"?

does your car idle? at what rpm?

if your car shudders violently @1500rpm/part throttle, your IACV itself is malfunctioning. check 2 c if it's connected properly.

if your car wont idle, or if it idles too high(900+rpm)/too low(500-rpm) you may just need to adjust your base idle setting or play w/ your idle adjustment screw a little.
