Is the IAVC in the front of the Intake Manifold or on the back of it my engines a b18a1 ive been trying to find out wheres its at but im not able to find it
 
Alright thanks its going to be a bit hard to pull it off cause i don't have much room to fit a socket down there lol woot fun for me
 
Its not bad at all. Unhook the plug from harness and undo the two bolts that hold it to the IM (use an open end wrench). Then you can access the coolant lines easier.
 
ok i cleaned out the Iavc and it idles fine when its warm but not when its cold where is the Fitv at? thats what controls it when its cold right? am i able to clean it out?
 
spring might be stuck on the FITV.. they're bolted to the bottom of the throttle body.. though some didnt come w/ them..
