for some reason, ever since i re-installed XP and fedora core, my mp3's have the windows media player icon next to them. i changed the associations so they open in winamp, but for som reason, they still look like the damn other icon. i remember changing it and fixing this once before, but haven't been able to fix it this time...

    ideas?

Go through your file associations list (from Windows Explorer) and check to make sure that you don't have MP3 files associated twice. You probably do- and if so, the WMP icon will usually override everything else. Just fix it in there.

Ah, that's right. It's been a while since I've had to deal with that. Good job!
