I still think the Juke is a niche vehicle with no niche market. I just don't get it.

^ I just dont see it turning into the next hot thing on the street. It may sell well in asia or possibly in europe.

You know what is going to sell well here?

    that wont sell here.
nobody will be able to afford it.
and if they can afford it, they'll buy something better for the money.

the juke is ugly, affordable, and gets attention.
how does that not sound like a top seller?
americans have bad taste, are cheap, and like to get the attention they deserve, the juke delivers.

that ft86 will only garner the attention of teenage boys and mid life crises men, so, if thats your thing, then thats your car. lol.

Touche. I guess I really meant it serves no purpose as a vehicle. Under powered for a truck/SUV, not to mention minimal ground clearance and actual interior room. It's not a sports car, or even a sports compact. MPG is nothing to brag about.

It's a god ugly on-road only car/SUV that doesn't do anything special in the ways of performance or economy. I wouldn't trade my 14 year old Integra straight up for one.

Even the Juke-R is pointless. I'd rather have the original Skyline, thanks. Or even just take the power train they hacked and put it into something deserving of the prowess.

So Nissan engineers read an article that revealed people actually bought PT Cruisers, is what this amounts to.

It just looks like a GTR shit out a fat little baby car.

The FT-86 wont sell because 99% of Americans don't drive for pleasure. there are a lot of FR cars that should sell. Look at the Genesis.

Its almost there. I see where they were going with the design, and they got 90% of the way there, and then dropped the ball. It really is almost there. But then you slap glossy paint on it and :puke:

And this "each car company must have matching signature grilles on all their models" fad is making for some seriously hideous front ends. They need to break away from that. If its hideous, ditch the signature look.

Picture this with even higher wheel flares, all the way up to the back window and to the hood. A little wider and more aggressive on the flares as well. Ditch the hood lights and line them up across the front bumper, just like that big round light (No idea if that is a fog or a blinker). Throw a skid plate on the front, trim the skirts just a tad, and throw a rally suspension and wheels on it. AWD. Win.

A little tiny aggressively styled rally car. Toss it in the WRX/Lancer catagory. Because as capable as the wrx/lancer are, they are boring as hell to look at.
