what kind of markings are typically found on cams?
I picked up a used set of skunk2 stage 1 cams and really have now way of knowing weather they are the real deal or a set of gsr cams

is there a way to tell by the markings or would you have to measure the lobes

    thanks
    Sean

there should be an "M" and a "2" cast into the cams between the sets of lobes. there should also be some stuff engraved on the end of the cams like "H01EX" or some shit like that

    thanks for the reply
they had ho1in and ho1ex engraved in them but I can't remember seeing an M or a 2 in between the lobes

I got an e-mail from someone at skunk2 that mentioned the "ho1" but they didn't mention other markings

they are cast in the cams, not between every lobe, just like in the middle of the cam i believe. but if your cams are engraved with the h01in and h01ex im pretty certain they are in fact skunk2 cams
