ignition coil suck

well today i replaced my ignition coil again for the third time in about a year and a half.does anybody have any ideas why this might be happening? i have a 91 accord ex and the engine runs just fine when the coil is working. i m thinking im going to upgrade to an external coil if this keeps up. what a good brand for that?

We are going to need more info than that to help you. What other modifcations have you done to the engine? Anything to the ignition system?

thats the thing, i havent done anything special to the engine. i just have a cold air intake, bosch cables and plugs, nothing special.its totally stock!

I would try changing back to the stock plug wires and NGK plugs, the Bosch wires might be your problem.
