WTF do they do it....?

Their ressoning is dumb....write programs to spy on our internet useage...but yet they make it to where the computer can't even get online...so whats the fucking reason???

I use Outlook 2003, Internet Explorer and Windows XP.

I get no spam.

So don't go blaming this on Microsoft. It's about what you surf for - As they advertise. If you look for porn, you WILL get porn emails. I was helping my mother look up some of her meds, going to mainstream public sites and now I have emails about drugs. I was shopping for a house and I had emails about houses.

And if you look up porn, you will get emails for Levitra, Porno and shit like that.

It goes away after a few weeks of ignoring it.

Who is writing spam ? EVERYONE. It's not some dirty kid in a Filipino basement, it's major corporations, it's government agencies. It's sikorsky.

some don't. You know the spammers - real estate, porn and pharmaceutical. And banks.

Those are the major people, I guess there are people out there who get spams about tools and lumber supplies. Then others ... no wait.

That's about it. I think we're onto something here.

All of the worlds spam comes from Real Estate, Pharmaceuticals, porn and banks.

a lot of it is harvesting.

GOING to a website will NOT get your email adress on their spam list.

there is NO WAY anyone can make a script that will capture your email address.

unless, you use outlook, and use IE, and enable VBScript execution.

if you have a hotmail account, or anyother webmail account.... there is NO WAY for them to get your email address.

the way they DO get your email address, is by finding it posted on webpages--- which is why we here use a secure server-side form. you never see the email address---- and neither do the harvesters.

i have spam assassin on my mail server.
and i use thunderbird witch has adpative filters.... after a couple times of sending things to the junk folder, it automatically goes there.
