Does the intake control solenoid have to be hooked up? Its supposed to control a diagphram on the intake pipe by the air cleaner (on a prelude anyway) I'm guessing this is not required on the civic but I just want to confirm. Can I leave this out? BTW It's a JDM H22a with the P13 Ecu.
Also is there anyway to disable the Electrical load detector (ELD)? I keep getting the ELD code and I'm pretty sure the ELD on the Civic is different than the one on the Prelude so that's why its tripping the code all the time. Can I feed the ECU a fake ELD signal like +5v ? Would there be any bad consequences?
