Intake Manifold

I am about to buy a new intake manifold for my b18b. I was looking at skunk2, is there any other brands i should look at? Also is the manifold a simple bolt on or is there some other stuff that has to be done at the same time?

the skunk2 comes bare, as is the case with most aftermarket IM's

you'll have to run all the vacuum lines, install the sensors from your old IM

depending on the mods there are other brand you could look at, but for a stock, or mostly stock motor, skunk2 is one of the best choices out there

jg intake manies are to big for n/a more for f/i from what i hear

skunk 2 is like a type r mani with a slightly larger bore isnt it ?

I would run the AEBS manifold then. The JG isn't necessarilly for FI but it does work better on a high reving motor. I think the AEBS/Profesional Products manifold is much better than ther skunk 2 for 1/2 the price though...

Hey dummy AEBS does not make an intake manifold for a B18B1 or for a B18C1 for that matter. They only have them for B16 and the B18C5.

My bad. Actually they just came out with one for the GSR but still no B18a/b. I guess go with the skunk 2...

JG works fine for all motor cars that need the air flow.. like 215+ whp b-series

For a B18A, I would go with a used ITR manifold. Cheap and flows great.

I was told by AEBS that they did not have a IM that would fit a B18B1 Sorry gosh.
