aebs for budget but will need to be mondified to fit and jg for double the money at around $350. jg will put down 600+ whp so you will not need a new one.

For a boosted LS? Ported stock manifold with a bigger TB. Anything less than 500whp can work with a stock manifold. Any higher than that and a new one would be advised.

unshure but would a B16 IM flow better than the ls with the shorter runners, and get that one ported with a bigger TB

or if he would go get a ITR IM.

get a blox manifold off ebay for like $150, and get it ported. importbuilders.com sells ported type-r's for way too much, put if the facts are right, is would be better then an edlebrock for less money.
