I am about to purchase an 88-89 Integra PG7 ECU off ebay. I asked the seller what it redlines at, and he said at 7800 rpms.
Is this accurate?
 
wow, its not even a pg7, its a pg6 and B, the reference section doesn't say shit on this ecu.

Exactly, so how am I supposed to know when its not in the reference section?
 
i'm going to take a wild guess, but those cars are mainly zc's i believe and i highly doubt they have a 7800 rev limit. Especially since the y8 and z6's, with vtec, have a rev limiter that is smaller then that.
