does he have cams and all that other stuff?? no. he has a stock GSR.

uh yeah that was the point, he wanted to know some cheap mods to make more power...so uh thats why they said get an intake...etc...do you see the point of his question now?

any 4-1 header with a 2.5 inch collector
your current exhaust is fine.

Isn't his cat-back measure 2 3/8" in diameter? Is that good? 2 1/2" collector, 2 1/2"cat. If you went with a 2 1/2" cat-back system it would be more beneficial to the exhaust system. Read the article I posted, so that way you could learn why and how combinations work instead of just copying someone else's set-up or suggestions.

wouldn't a 2.5" exhaust system be just a tad bit big on an N/A four banger? 2.25" should do him fine unless he plans on going with my first suggestion...

Well, that all depends on what his goals are; that's why I linked that article, it puts that in perspective. 2 1/2" system is not to big...It would come in handy if he ever decides to upgrade cams, im, tb, and a higher cr. It's not like he would lose power with the 2 1/2" system. Why would you go with a 2/12" collector and cat, if your going to step it down to a smaller diameter cat-back? Does that sound logical to you?

by the way in winter oxygen particles are less crowded together. that's why you breath heavier in the winter.

you = tard

It is a fact that air is more dense when cold. The only way to say that you are breathing less oxygen is to suggest that in the winter there is less oxygen in the air. You breath heavier in the winter because your body is expending a lot more energy keeping warm and therefore needs more oxygen to support arobic repiration, not because there is less oxygen.

btw "less crowded together" is an idot's way of saying that they have more kenetic energy (or that they are at a lesser pressure), which is not the case in the winter (kenetic engergy = warmth).

aah sweeet... Two different ball parks for two different cars, I learned about exhaust sizes for Escorts...which if you're going NA, then 2.5" is too big. :)

ok cool whatever.

does throttle body really add more power and skund 2 intake manifold because i heard gsr stock intake manifold is fine the way it is no need to change is that true
